This residential real estate website (the "Site") is an interactive online service operated by Classified Ventures, LLC ("CV") on behalf of the newspaper or broadcast station affiliate identified above ("Affiliate") and made available through the Affiliate’s web site (the "Affiliate Site"). The pages of the Site are identifiable by the "Classified Ventures, LLC" footer. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy only describes CV’s collection, use, and disclosure of information through the Site. This Privacy Policy does not describe CV's collection, use and disclosure of information from customers through means other than this Site (e.g. off-line or on other websites operated by CV) or the collection, use and disclosure practices of the Affiliate. To learn more about the Affiliate’s information collection, use and disclosure practices related to this Site, please review the Affiliate’s privacy policy on the home page of the Affiliate Site ("Affiliate Privacy Policy"). This Privacy Policy is intended to supplement the Affiliate Privacy Policy.

Collection of Information. The Site currently collects personal information in a few ways: (1) through your submission of a lead form, (2) through the Site’s contact us form, (3) when you register for the email notification service, if that feature is available on this Site, and (4) through your purchase of a property listing ("Listing") to appear on the Site, if that feature is available on the Site. Through these submissions you may be required to provide your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. If you are purchasing a Listing, you will also be required to submit your credit card and billing information. You may also choose to include on the lead form and listing submission form comments or questions you might have.

The Site also passively collects information through the use of cookies, web beacons, and other technical means. In addition, our web servers automatically collect information about your computer and the web browser that you are using, including the Internet Protocol ("IP") address of your computer.

Use of Information. CV uses the personal information you submit through the Site to carry out your requests (e.g., to send your information request to a listing agent or to send you e-mails about available properties that meet your search criteria), to process credit card transactions (if you are purchasing a Listing), to provide lead reporting to the respective Affiliate, and for other purposes. If you purchase a Listing, we use your information to establish an account for you and build your Listing. In that case, we will make your personal information publicly available within Listings that appear on the Site (to allow third parties to contact you regarding your Listings). We also use the information we collect from you when you purchase a Listing to provide account confirmations, send Listing renewal or expiration notices or reminders, and to contact you regarding other information or materials that might be of interest to you.

With respect to non-personal information collected passively through technical means, CV uses this information for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to, Site administration, troubleshooting, performing statistical analyses of user behavior, and for development purposes. For example, cookies may be used to measure traffic, collect statistical information (such as which pages of the Site are visited most often by users) and to make your visit more pleasant (by remembering your user name and password and keeping track of the ads you have viewed so you don’t always have to see the same one).

Sharing of Personal Information. CV may share personal information you submit through the Site as follows:

1. With the Affiliate on whose behalf we operate the Site.
2. With third parties as necessary to provide information or perform services requested by you. For example, if you submit a lead form for a specific property listing, CV will forward the personal information you include in the lead form to the listing party so he or she can respond to you. Personal information also may be included in reports to these third parties, but only when you have already submitted the information to the third party as described above.
3. With third party credit card processors in order to process online purchases.
4. With agents, consultants, and contractors performing analytical and other services on CV’s behalf.
5. With other third parties: (a) when required by law or legal process, (b) to investigate illegal activity or unauthorized use of Site, (c) in connection with the sale of all or a part of CV’s stock or assets or those of the Affiliate, or (d) in connection with any bankruptcy or restructuring of CV or the Affiliate.

CV reserves the right to share any aggregated and anonymous information with any third party for any reason.

After any personal or aggregate information is provided to third parties, CV does not and cannot control their subsequent use or disclosure of such information and is not responsible for their use.

Accessing or Changing Information. If you wish to access, verify the accuracy of, or change your account information on file with CV, you can update your account information by logging in to your account on the Site using your password.

Security. CV uses commercially reasonable efforts to keep your personal information physically secure in our data centers. Such information is accessible only to authorized personnel as needed to perform operations associated with the performance of this Site and subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy. In addition, when we collect credit card information from you, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. Despite these precautions, however, you must understand that CV cannot and does not guarantee absolute security for the information we store or the information you transmit through the Site. Except as stated above, information transmitted to CV through electronic means, including without limitation through email and web site forms on this Site, are not secure from access by third parties.

Children's Guidelines. This Site is not directed to, or intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18, and CV does not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children younger than 13 years old.

Links. The Site contains links to other web sites. While we encourage our business partners to adopt privacy policies that build users' trust and confidence in the Internet, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of Web sites linked to or from this Site, including the Affiliate Site. Use of any personal information provided to such a third party will be governed by that party's privacy policy.

Notification of Changes. If this privacy policy materially changes, the new privacy policy will be posted on the Site and identified as "Updated". Your continued use of Site after such changes have been posted shall signify acceptance of those terms.
